Developing a Mixed Media Collage using Fabric interfacing   Have drawn a sketch on Interfacing   Added some sharpies to the collage plus textile paint. 

THESE FLAGS WERE BASED ON A PHOTO IN ABOOK ABOUT ANIMALS OF THE ARTIST LOUIS WAINS CAT ART THE OTHER FLAG WAS INSPIRED BY A PHOTO I HAD TAKEN OF A STAINED GLASS WINDOW, IN A CHURCH, I HAD TAKEN SOME TIME AGO I USED SHARPIE PENS TO CREATE SOME OF THESE FLAGS, AND STENCILS FOR THE FLOWER SHAPES. SHARPIES OR ALCOHOL INK MARKERS ARE VERY GOOD TO DRAW WITH ONTO FABRIC. I AM NOT SURE HOW IT WASHES THOUGH! CALICO FABRIC IS EXCELLANT TO DRAW OR PAINT ONTO - MAYBE COULD USE OLD COTTON SHEETS, OR A COLOURED COTTON TOO. JUST USE WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO HAND. UPCYCLE MATERIALS YOU HAVE AROUND YOUR HOME. CREATE A NEW AND COLOURFUL CREATIONS FROM WHATEVER MATERIALS YOU CAN FIND! THIS FLAG WAS CREATED WITH INSPIRATION FROM A PHOTOGRAPH OF A STAINED GLASS WINDOW, I TOOK SOME TIME AGO. I USED ALCOHOL INK PENS, SHARPIES, PLUS CRAYONS AND POSCA PENS TO MAKE THIS FLAG AND ACRYLIC PAINT. GO WILD WITH YOUR IMAGINATION WITH THESE FLAGS!!
